many changes in terms of what the ancient Egyptians believed in, and how they
lived their lives. However, many aspects of the basic culture, religion, and
artistic style of ancient Egypt remained the same.

Egyptian Mythology :The Hour Watcher
Mehetra was a young priestess in an ancient
Egyptian temple. She had trained for years to become a priestess, and took her
position very seriously.
Mehetra's main
responsibility was to help another priestess in everyday matters. She also
participated in the regular temple festivals. In festivals, Mehetra would
follow the priestess, chanting and shaking her sistrum.

Myths & Legends
Myths and legends form an integral part of folklore and are universally the most interesting aspect of life in a particular era. The annals of too abound with such tales of love, valor and mystery. some plausible, others improbable and quite a few positively bizarre.
In public, the average humans will rarely admit to ever believing in such preposterous yarns, especially those recounting paranormal occurrences. His accounts are always in the third person and come with a concluding condemnation of the weakness of those susceptible to such flights of fancy.
Even so, at heart we all relish the recounting of such tales, handed down from generation to generation, which often are no more than futile attempts at keeping the myth alive, long after it has lost all relevance.
